Kitchens are transformed into a place of attraction and joy of the
American homes. It is the place where we satisfy our taste buds and hang
out with the family. Big is stunning and sophisticated is all! Today’s
homeowner desires a lavish showplace having absolute totality with granite
counter tops, custom tile back splashes, top-of-the-line stainless steel
appliances and a lot more!
Architecturally accurate layout is vital in designing a dream kitchen to
rival all others in the locality. For the perfect layout, before you begin
to sketch your kitchen’s design, determine the entire usage of this key
living space. Start on by assessing the home owner’s needs. Will the
kitchen means a center of gossips and amusement; a place to unwind and to
enjoy each other‘s presence, a place to cook five-star meals or does the
space need to be deigned to deal with a hectic family with youthful
children?
Once you are acquainted with the complete utilities of the kitchen, then
you need to decide on size. Is an expansion in the plan? Or must you work
within its current boundaries? What about shape?

Most Kitchens Are Planned In One Of Three Main Shapes:
* U-shape.
* L-shape.
* G-shape.
Once you’ve established these primary perimeters, you can start the real
design work.
Small kitchens can be a challenge, so remember to be creative when trying
to make the space look and feel wider:
Look For Unique Storage Solutions
You can make your small space more accessible by adding pullout shelves,
rotating inserts, and tilt out bins.
Go Light
Nothing makes a small space feel overcrowded than a lot of cabinets –
especially if they’re made of dark wood. Opt for lighter colors in your
cabinets and walls; use lots of open shelves; and wire organizers. And
ditch the solid cabinet doors for glass or frosted ones. It’ll give off an
illusion of more space.
Be Wise in Choosing the Appliances
Keep your cook top and oven in the same area. Hide away smaller appliances
in cupboards and pantries for a clean look and build in microwaves and
dishwashers whenever possible.
Use Right Lighting To Expand the Space
The combination of ambient light with natural light is ideal. Skylight
addition is brilliant way to emerge a room appearance much wider than it
is. You can implement this idea by raising a portion of the ceiling and
opening the room with more natural light from above.

When designing any kitchen it’s vital to bear the
following features in mind:
* The core purpose of the room.
* The family’s size and requirements (for example a family with young
children generally need colors and textures to hide fingerprints, smudges,
dirt etc).
* The size and shape of the room.
* And, off course your budget.
